Privacy Policy
Dropline.life is a 4-in-a-row game. This page explains what it stores, why, and how to get rid of it. It covers the iOS app and the website.
What we store
- Account — your email address, your username, and a cryptographic hash of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot recover it.
- Play data — your rating, win/loss/draw record, match history, puzzle progress and cosmetic choices.
- Messages — direct messages and in-game chat you send are stored so they can be delivered and shown in your history.
- Moderation — reports you submit and accounts you block.
You can play the entire game offline as a guest without an account. In that case nothing is sent to us at all — your progress stays on your device.
Computer players
Some opponents and leaderboard entries are computer players run by Dropline while the community grows. They aren't people, and they aren't built from anyone's data. See the Terms of Use for how they fit into online play.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't ask for your real name, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
- Your email address is never shown to other players. Other people only see your username, avatar, rating and record.
We use your email address to send one-time sign-in and password-reset codes, and to contact you about your account if we need to. Those messages are sent through our email provider solely for delivery.
Subscriptions
Dropline Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. Apple processes the payment — we never see your card details. We record only whether your account is currently subscribed.
Advertising
The free version may show ads. Pro removes them. Where a third-party ad provider is used, that provider has its own privacy policy governing what it collects; we don't share your account details with it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, play history, messages and moderation records. It cannot be undone, and we don't keep a shadow copy. You can also email support@connect4.life and ask us to do it.
Children
Dropline.life is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above and note the change in the app.
